An ongoing challenge...
The last couple of years were never going to be easy! With customers moving rapidly
from "because I'm worth it" to "because I can't afford it" everything changed. Although
the recession is officially over, the continuing political and economic uncertainty
with possible “double-dip” means that 2010 might be just as challenging for many
businesses and local economies.
Today's dramatic changes in the global economy mean that years of common sense for
businesses are useless. In 2009, each week seemed to see the collapse of a household
name and governments propping up yet another failing sector. Now we’re heading slowly
towards recovery - the most difficult and challenging phase for business!
GreySky’s strategic planning operates on two levels - directly by working with businesses
to develop their own strategic directions, and more widely by working with government
and business support organisations to establish the foundations for economic growth.
Business strategy
GreySky work with businesses of all sizes - from start-ups to Microsoft! Our aim
is always the same - to identify practical strategic plans that help our clients
establish a stronger position in their market.

Enterprise strategy
Small businesses are increasingly vital to the economic strength of an area - whether
it’s a region, a city or remote rural village. Understanding how each area can improve
the viability and success of their local enterprise economy is critical. A clear
enterprise strategy can allow each area to determine their own specific strengths,
and what they need to do to turn these into economic growth.
